Plymouth theme change error

Post by msdobrescu » Thu Jul 05, 2018 17:16

Hello,

I have re-installed the system and I try to fix/change Plymouth configurastion, as the resolution is very low and during boot scrambled texts are displayed until I press <F3>.

In KDE, at bootspalsh setting, I get the following error:

Code: Select all

Unable to authenticate/execute the action: 9, Cannot start initramfs.
I have found a bug report here

What could be done, I need to get a highier resolution and a simple kernel log during boot?

Thank you.

Code: Select all

eselect bzimage list
Available kernel targets:
  [1] kernel-genkernel-x86_64-4.16.0-sabayon *
