After an update in the package manager...
After I installed all the updates in the Package Manager, I noticed when I booted up it updated to Sabayon 4.2 gnome. That's cool except now the only thing that loads is the small splash screen with part of the Pidgin messenger since I have it set to run on boot up. The background shows up but nothing else does. I can't right click on the desktop. What went wrong with the update?

Hi, Raskula.
see: http://forum.sabayonlinux.org/viewtopic ... 53&t=17069
You have to reinstall the "gnome-session"-package.
Switch to a console (by pressing Strg + Alt + F1 for example), login as "root" and type.
Than restart the X-Server (Strg + Alt + Backspace) and enjoy your Gnome-Desktop.
