not possible to add sabayon overlay [Solved]

Postby albfneto » Thu Dec 11, 2008 8:28

In one of my sabayon installations, it was not posible to add or work with sabayon overlay.
after emerge --sync and emerge layman commands, the commands of layman, example, layman -d sabayon, layman -a sabayon, are unsucessful and giving messages of nor found sabayon overlay...
dele3ting the contents id the dirs (as suggested in messages) do not solve the problems.

Code: Select all
layman -a sabayon
* Running command "/usr/bin/svn co "http://svn.sabayonlinux.org/overlay//" "/usr/local/portage/layman/sabayon""...
/usr/bin/svn: error while loading shared libraries: libdb-4.6.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
* Failed to add overlay "sabayon".
* Error was: Adding the overlay failed! Possible remains of the opration have NOT been removed and may be left at /usr/local/portage/layman/sabayon. Please remove them manually if required.
localhost / # layman -d sabayon
* Overlay "sabayon" does not exist!
