Localized language in Firefox and Thunderbird [Solved]

Post by thenthenio » Wed Sep 10, 2008 0:25

When I finished a fresh SL 3.5 installation, starting from the very beginning in Italian, I found that Firefox in english and, after installing Thunderbird, it was in english too (other applications are in Italian).
This surprised me a lot bacause I was used to an (almost) fully localized installation in SL 3.4 (using portage).
In Portage I was able to configure loclization using it_IT somewhere in make.conf, but now, with Enropy, I do not know what to do...
Is there a way to change localization using Entropy/Spritz?

Thank you.

For firefox:
Open a new tab, type about:config and search general.useragent.locale
Edit it acording to your language (i don't know if is it or it_IT ).
Restart firefox.

Removing your local preferences located at ~/.mozilla may work also.
