bzflag [Solved]

hi

i installed the live dvd the 3rd time now and updated to kernel 2.6.26. but somehow my nvidia hasnt got the performance it should. so i stay with the 2.6.25. but another problem occured after the update:

bzflag wasnt a problem before updating. after the updated it wont start giving me this message:

bzflag: error while loading shared libraries: libcares.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

thanx for any help. I love this game. I can live without the 2.6.26, but not without bzflag....

Which version of bzflag are you using? The latest one in Portage is 2.0.12.

I ran

emerge bzflag

and suddenly it worked. i installed it with equo before, seems like equo didnt work.
