Bash Auto Completion (intelligent completion) work? [Solved]

Post by v3ss0n » Fri Jul 18, 2008 6:22

Hi ;

I wanna know how to get bash completion working in sabayon. I have read in gentoo forum that need to add USE Flag bash-completion and emerge world but as everyone here says emerging world will break sabayon so.. is there any alternative? Is entropy packages compiled already with bash completion ? i need help please.

You can 'emerge bash-completion' and then source /etc/bash_completion in your ~/.bash_rc, e.g. put

Code: Select all

. /etc/bash_completion

in ~/.bashrc
