Why the GARR mirror is down?? Why? Why? Whyyyyyy?????
Uff I'd download in LAN @100mbps from UniBo if that mirror were up...

However, great work! I updated using Equo/Spritz three loop3 installs with no problems.

thank you thank you thank you!!! I 've been dreaming of this day I always loved Sabayon but the fact that I couldnt make a custom install made me go and look back at other distros now that the package selector is here I will ditch kubuntu away, Sabayon has always provided the best experience out of the box. Can't wait to download it, thank you!!!!

I have the 3.4 mini edition and was wondering if the 3.5 has a mini-issue released yet? How long before one might be released? Also will you still have the ability to update from source code and use Portato? I really like the mini because of the speed and ability to compile all applications. Good Job Guys I'm sure the release is a good one!

DLaughingMan wrote:Hey everyone. I fooled around with 3.4 x86 on my work computer and was very impressed with it. I really want to install this on something, but the only computer I can tinker with is my Mac. Does anyone know if this will work on a 24" aluminum intel imac with ATi Radion HD 2600 pro? I know ATi drivers are new to the linux game so I'm not complaining or anything if it dosen't.

Anyway, Congrats on the release!

Try talking to c0nv1ct or Rand_A (depends on what nick he is under). He has a Mac that is similar to yours I believe. He might be able to guide you.

Thank you! Cheers!
It is another great release.
But, it`s a pity that Wi-Fi card (madwifi-ng, I know) in Asus EEE 701 not working from livedvd.
Cool artwork!

You don't need the mini with the installer's abilities to install only what you want, but yea a mini is in the works and will take sometime. It won't be like our normal mini release tho. It will be a mini that is safe/secure designed >> http://www.nlnet.nl/contest/2008/index.html

tbh, I've always prefered the minis, everything else can be installed from portage and now entropy anyways, full DVD is for me just a waste of space(and the fact that the DVD burner in my desktopbox is wonky and can't take full DVDs, only about 3.8GB, I need to buy a new one).
I've always been thinking, wouldn't it be easier to make a stable mini, then add all the other stuff for the full DVD?

anyways, it'll be interesting to see the safe/security designed mini

thanx for a good job on SL, the best distro ever

Is there going to be a delta file available to turn the 3.5 rc3 into the final version?
