at the begining of my thread i had mentioned that i dont like the playlist style view of amarok. im looking for something like mediamonkey, with a full library veiw so i can browse my music and sort between different artists, albums, genres, etc..
i liked songbird (sadly it resembles itunes more than anything) but it only read 2200 (exactly) of my songs

as before, maby theres a setting in amarok im not seeing?

and im not looking for your person opinions of "(media player) is the best!!" because that doesnt really tell me anything about the program...

ok well, did you click on the "Collection" tab? It displays your entire collection divided by artist/album so that seems pretty much like what you are looking for no?
