I posted azureus

that's what I use,
Never used anything else, but maybe I will

the ability to encrypt traffic makes it possible to actually use torrents

For torrents, Azureus, Deluge, and Ktorrent work well for me.
For the eDonkey network, I use eMule Xtreme Mod (in WINE).
For Gnutella, Frostwire is good.
Don't really use any of the many others networks out there.

Fine, added another +1 to deluge: until now seems the most popular in sabayon community

Well.. I think these were the official results until now then. here the effective result before this post:

The winners
[7] Deluge
[6] Azureus
[5] Bittorrent

The mules
[2] Amule
[2] eMule(wined)

The losers
[1] cTorrent
[1] Frostwire
[1] Ktorrent
[1] MLDonkey
[1] rTorrent
[1] Torrentflux

The "whats?"
Linuxdcpp
Limewire
Nicotine
Lopster

You can still add more preferences but you need to calculate on your own the results..
