deluge. It's definitely the utorrent for linux. Tons of plugins (I've recently used the WebUI plugin and it works excellently).

You might want to consider adding rtorrent and/or ctorrent (enhanced) to the list, since there are quite a bunch of people doing their p2p from terminal or under screen (imho the best way :) ).

Yes, sir.
rTorrent and cTorrent added.

So... seems like everyone as own differnt preference; it could be not bad at all. But thep2p network it's still dominated by eMule, which is win only app :(

Another vote for Deluge here.

amule is the emule for GNU/Linux, though to be honest that type of p2p is imo destend to die a slow death mainly kids use it now and its filled with viruses.

torrents are the way to go.
