I would not bet anything on win98 drivers. Win xp pro sure. http://www.google.co.za/search?q=wg111v ... =firefox-a
Looks like the prism54 or rtl8187 is the chip in it and using either the win xp pro *.inf + ndiswrapper or linux rtl8187 / prism54 drivers should get it going. http://gentoo-wiki.com/Wireless_connectivity http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-441826.html
These last 2 links could help you get it going.
Speed Chipset Manufacturer Card Driver H? K? A? Homepage Works
g RTL 8187 Netgear WG111 v2 ndiswrapper - - - YES, use Windows 98/ME windows driver
g RTL 8187 Netgear WG111 v2 rtl8187 - - - YES use rtl8187 ebuild from portage
Ebuild or emerge -s rtl8187
Might have to use a lan cable until this is installed.
Hope this helps.
PS> we should have a how-to in the wiki top right of this page as well about the rtl8187 as several wifi stuff uses it.
