no mouse in X, [Solved]

hi

after update xorg-server and xorg-x11 i dont have mouse in X (KDE) but i have in in console (ctrl+alt+f1).

anybody knows why?

you need to edit your /etc/X11/xorg.conf .

Code: Select all

# Identifier and driver

    Identifier  "Mouse1"
    Driver      "mouse"

    Option      "Device"        "/dev/psaux"
    Option      "Protocol"      "ImPS/2"
    Option      "ZAxisMapping"  "4 5"

EndSection
try to change /dev/psaux into /dev/input/mice

this worked for me.
Also remember to remerge all the xorg drivers you are using.
example for mouse:

Yeah, just pull them releases, until enough errors are re-creatabile.
