Issues Related to Hardware (Sound, Video, Printers, Scanners, Webcams, Touchpads, Keyboards, Sensors, Drives, GRUB, etc.)
Not in linux right now but left bottom the icon looking like a house or similar if you right click it then it should show "storage" something and clicking this should show other devices like cd / hd / ntfs and right click or double click the actual drive / partition you want should have a mount option or mount it by default if this was then the same as during install.
- Code: Select all
Usually as root in terminal you can:
mount /dev/sda3 /mnt/win
or unmount /mnt/win
or unmount /dev/sda3
to exit partition / unmount it.
This above relies on /etc/fstab and should have the actual windows partitions in there and what to do with it same as with the dvd drive.
If this does not work then google for /etc/fstab or using the wiki top right / gentoo.org wiki / forums to get more info about this.
