NetworkManager Problem. [Solved]

Postby Stupot » Sat Oct 27, 2007 3:53

Code: Select all
NetworkManager: error while loading shared libraries: libiw.so.29: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

As far as I know, it's correct and that file isn't there. I don't know where it went unless some package I updated decided it should delete it. Anyway, I can boot into Sabayon just fine, but I can't access the internet to emerge anything while there. Can someone tell me what I should do? (P.S. I can download things through windows and put them on Sabayon to run it when I boot into Sabayon.)

No, I didn't. I didn't think that I updated any packages that would have any sort of impact like that or I would have. But, regardless, now here I am without an internet connection. I can run revdep-rebuild -X, but I can't download any packages while in Sabayon.

ok, after running net-setup, I had working internet, although knetwork manager didn't show it. I then remerged networkmanager and all is well again. Thanks for the help.
