Matlab 7.4.0 and Compiz: is it possible?

Postby Qoelet » Thu Aug 23, 2007 20:40

Hello,
I am a newbie, so I will ask dumb questions: sorry for the bother.
I just installed Matlab 7.4.0 and it seems it doesn't work under AIGLX - compiz: it starts but it doesn't visualize the keys and the editor doesn't work at all. I tried other combinations, but XGL gives me a white cube. If I use no video acceleration at all, it works fine.

Do you have any solutions about this? I find the cube solution effective when you want to manage many graphs at a time and it would be really useful for me.
thank you.
