how to change gnome-main-main? [Solved]

Post by rfurman24 » Sat Sep 15, 2007 16:02

I don't know if I put this in the correct place. How to I change the gnome-main-menu back to the default gnome? I find the current menu almost unusable. I just want the "Applications Places System".

i know, i hate that main menu that is included. it sucks. if it was like the kde one where when you type in the search box, a list of relevant applications comes up, then it would be a different story. but i have to click "more applicatoins" and wait a couple of seconds for the damn thing to load

but what you do is right click on the menu icon, and select "remove"

then right click on the bar, and select "add to panel" and then scroll through and you should see something about a gnome panel
