Arch not set... Missing Symlink? [Solved]

Postby Squeak2 » Sat Sep 01, 2007 21:47

I can't emerge anything, when I do "emerge..." in konsole I get:

!!! ARCH is not set... Are you missing the 'etc/make.profile' symlink?
!!! Is your symlink correct? Is your portage tree complete?

>.> I know I am NOT Missing Make.profile. I have it, it points to a directory of: "/usr/portage/profiles/default-linux/x86/2006.1"

I don't know how to check if it is correct or if my portage tree is complete.

Help please?

Thanks,
