can you retry starting at the beginning again - had to make some revisions

Make sure you follow the very first thing about the /etc/portage/package.keywords

KDE should remember you session when you log out - can try adding it to the /home/username/.kde/Autostart if totally stuck

make sure to reinstall your fusion-icon

You have to do what is stated above - For extras, you have to add them to your /etc/portage/package.keywords

OK, everything worked fine up to and including emerge compiz-fusion-icon.
Then when I did this

localhost / # emerge compiz-fusion-plugins-atlantis

I got this

Calculating dependencies -
!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy "~x11-wm/compiz-9999" have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- x11-wm/compiz-9999 (masked by: missing keyword)

For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man page or
refer to the Gentoo Handbook.
(dependency required by "x11-plugins/compiz-fusion-plugins-atlantis-9999" [ebuild])

Here is my /etc/portage/package.keywords (from both updates above)

#dev-python/compizconfig-python **
#x11-wm/compiz **
#x11-wm/compiz-fusion **
#x11-plugins/compiz-fusion-plugins-main **

I've got another problem with fusion-icon. I have searched many forums but still have no idea how to solve that. Prob is, when i try to launch fusion-icon I get this error:
Code: Select all
* Using the Qt4 Interface
* No module named interface_qt4
... Trying another interface
* Using the Qt3 Interface
* No module named interface_qt3
... Trying another interface
* Using the GTK Interface
* No module named interface_gtk
... Trying another interface
* Error: All interfaces failed, aborting!

Compiz-fusion starts with "compiz-start" command and it works but theres no systray icon. Any ideas?. I run that script under KDE (sabayon 3.4a)
