Hello all,

I am having a problem compiling a new kernel. I want to change several options (mainly SLUB) but it fils each time on both my machines. THis is the genkernel log.. any ideas why? ima noob.

what can i put here to help you guys help me? is this really that uncommon? I NEED to recompile this kernel. is there another way to do it? i can post the entire screen dump, but as a file B/C it will not fit in this box. it seems to me that genkernel does not work w/ sabayon at all. i have tried this 12 or 13 times on different versions of sab, genkernel, kernel, and different machines. I mean what does LXNAY and his team do to compile? and why is the link at the bottom about failures and wireless on that guide BROKEN?

I'm having exactly the same problem,
I've removed the unionfs from the options, as a temporary workaround.
If someone knows how to compile the kernel with unionfs please advise.
