programming help

I want to advanced my programming abilities (specifically Linux programming). So far I have online scripts (javascript php etc.) and command line C++ down.

any suggestions on some learning devices. maybe some really well documented programs?

Start with Python :). python.org or Google Ruby on Rails...

python is good, if you need anything go to the #xmce channel on freenode, if i'm there i'll try to help you out, although, i can't promise anything :-)
