Ubuntu partnership with Linspire

Post by AmpLiF1eR » Fri Feb 09, 2007 8:35

"LONDON & SAN DIEGO, February 8th, 2007 - Canonical Ltd, the lead sponsor of the popular Ubuntu operating system, and Linspire, Inc. the developer of the commercial desktop Linux operating system of the same name, today announced plans for a technology partnership that integrates core competencies from each company into the other's open source Linux offerings."

Are they smart or dumb ?
(no doubt this is good for Linspire, but for Ubuntu ?)

Linspre jumps on the Kubuntu train in the hope for more users, this is what i call really lame....

Instead of creating something new & unique, weßll get another *buntu clone with another wallpaper and style....

It seems that innovation isnt a thing anyone wants to do in this times... :(

It is, the only thing going for linspire (which is terrible) is their oem sales.
