M$ bumbing Linux?!

I think maybe I didnt articulate my posts well enough.

Vista will do one of two things ultimately -- 1) push ALOT of folks to MAC and Linux, or 2) force ALOT of folks who love Linux/Mac to remain dual booted with Vista. Option 2 is undesirable for many reasons, center stage being the fact that it really is something the Linux world can entirely avoid due to Linux's sheer versatility and power. In other words, I believe Linux has the ability to both outperform Vista AND be more accomodating to the newby user given continued development into the desktop world. SL has allready more than proven this point to me, as I was about to give up on Linux entirely before I tried this distro out. Im firmly in the Linux camp now, and thats really something because not even a month ago I was quite happily logging hundreds of hours banging away on my XP machine and feeding M$ with more $$ every month in fee's for various things. The last thing I want is for Linux to get subverted by ever power hungry corporate's like M$ who know darn well that Linux is rapidly outperforming thier bread and butter cash machine OS.
