Making a package/program protected

Post by denijane » Sun Apr 26, 2020 14:04

I have some programs which I really like to have on my pc but every time I do >equo upgrade they are removed. For example kolourpaint and kruler are really handy for me, but they are constantly removed. So is there anything I can do to mark them as protected? So that the system stops uninstalling it after each upgrade. It's really annoying.

Try to run

Code: Select all

equo mask <package-name>
Test if it will be removed

see

Code: Select all

# equo mask --help
and/or

Code: Select all

# equo unmask --help

Thanks, I'll try it when I eventually restart :) Cuz now my laptop is functioning in a very weird way, but I have too much work open to restart it.
