Magneto applen not in the tray anymore [Solved]

Post by msdobrescu » Sun May 03, 2020 5:15

Hello,

At an update or two ago I have noticed Magneto applet in the system tray missing.
Since then, my only way to know there are upgrades is to query myself (Rigo, equo).
I have tried to re-install it, but does not start.
Magneto is not available in the list of items on the system tray.
If I try to run it manually, it says it already runs.

What can I do?

I've upgraded again, new versions of the package managers were installed, but I still have no Magneto in the tray.

What registers it there?

I have cleaned my python user install:

Code: Select all

pip freeze --user | grep -v "^-e" | xargs pip uninstall -y
Then it started.
I've had several remaining libraries installed with pip.
