Se commendo solo la seconda scompare dalla tray, la prima chiude il programma.

EDIT: basta fare un click a destra per chiudere il programma e rimane nella tray ... cool. :mrgreen:

Ultima richiesta, non hai un link che mi aiuta a impostare il programma, quando lo usavo via ADSL non avevo problemi di peso e lo lasciavo impostato di default.

Una ti chiede di chiudere il manager ma lasciare in background l'elaborzione e di ricordare la futura scelta (se non ricordo male è la prima scelta , ma dipende come hanno effettuato la traduzione o se hanno spostato le opzioni)

L'altra ti chiede di intrrompere l'elaborazione alla chiusura/termine dell'elaborazione ma essendo impostato come servizio credo che l'elaborazione continui lo stesso . Non ho mai verificato

In modalità avanzata puoi gestire la quantità di lavoro e la banda da utilizzare.
Generalmente Rosetta non richiede molto di rete.
A parte il download iniziale (le applicazioni sono di qualche mega ) le WU elaborate pesano pochi mega .

PS : Rosetta invia delle unità di elaborazione dove all'interno vengono elaborate più molecole . Ogni molecola può far parte a diverse tipologie di ricerca (Influenza , Alzhaimer,HIV ect...)
Le molecole dedicate al COVID-19 sono mescolate alle altre molecole , per cui individuarle non è molto semplice.

Funzionava tutto perfettamente, [email protected] girava in sottofondo, 4-5 stringhe, la mi accorgo che il programma risulta non collegato, ho provato a rilanciarlo da terminale, non si collega l'icona nella tray ha il puntino rosso.

Data directory: /var/lib/boinc

Nel .service c'è qualcosa da cambiare in quanto hai due directory differenti

Procdiamo in altra maniera
disabilita il servizio

Copia il servizio nella directory /etc/systemd/system (questa ha la precedenza su /usr/lib/systemd...) :

Supponendo che
User=fiore
Group=users

di default User=boinc , non ha gruppo. Qui si può specificare quali utenti e o gruppi di utenti possono accedere a boinc e ai suoi dati

Cambia i permessi alla directory boinc in modo che possa avere accesso in scrittura

Ho eseguito tutta la procedure ma non si collega, ho cancellato il file in /etc, risistemato in /usr, nel file "boinc-client.service" non cera la stringa "Group=users", che ho aggiunto:

Cancellato i file di configurazione, reinstallato il programma, funziona, ma non sono sicuro che mi metta i dati in MEDIA, se riscontro altri problemi forse apriro' un nuovo topic al riguardo:
