Any error messages during boot? Any error messages in the output of the 'journalctl -b' command? Any error messages in the output of the dmesg command?

Well, you have various error messages in your dmesg output. For example:

Code: Select all

[ 4.881948] pcieport 0000:00:1c.6: AER: Multiple Corrected error received: 0000:00:1c.6
A search of the Web throws up some articles/posts on this error message. Looks like it's due to the model of CPU and/or the model of Wi-Fi controller. You may be able to get rid of the error message by adding one of the kernel boot parameters suggested in those articles/posts (add it to the string GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX in /etc/default/sabayon-grub and run 'grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg' to regenerate grub.cfg).

Code: Select all

[ 4.888337] FAT-fs (sdb1): Volume was not properly unmounted. Some data may be corrupt. Please run fsck.
Looks like you're going to have to run fsck.fat from a LiveCD or LivePendrive to fix that one. Search the Web for articles on how to do that. EDIT: Oh, just seen your latest reply, and you have done that.

Also, what about the output from the 'journalctl -b' command that I mentioned in my previous post? Any eror messages there? If the output is lengthy, you can filter the output ('grep -i error' or whatever).

It looks like you have only copy/pasted the first page of the output. For example, if I run that command the output has 2075 lines. You can redirect the output into a text file and search it for any error messages or warnings:

Code: Select all

journalctl -b > journal.txt
