Intel HD Graphics [Solved]

Post by kholyphoenix1 » Sat Dec 16, 2017 17:35

Hello,

How can I install Intel HD Graphics on Sabayon?
Video errors are occurring.
Exemple: Blender, Open Broadcaster...

Someone can help me?
Thanks!

Intel video drivers should be loaded by Xorg (and x11-drivers/xf86-video-intel should be installed by default)

you can check /var/log/Xorg.0.log

Code: Select all

$ grep [Ii]ntel  /var/log/Xorg.0.log
e.g. : for my HD4000 :

Code: Select all

$ grep [Ii]ntel  /var/log/Xorg.0.log

Maybe you nedd x11-libs/libva-intel-driver
Is it installed ?

Code: Select all

# equo q installed x11-libs/libva-intel-driver
and paste the output of

Code: Select all

$ sudo lspci -kk | grep -A3 VGA
or if you have installed "lshw" package , you can obtain more details about your VGA

Code: Select all

$ sudo lshw -c video
eg:

Code: Select all

$ sudo lshw -c video

Your Intel Video card is configured.
Maybe is Blender related <

Can you provide some Blender log/output ?
