(alt-f2) --> gksu <command> (A library for integration of su into applications)
kdesu <command> (KDE: gui for su)
kdesudo <command> (A frontend for sudo. Unlike kdesu, it uses directly sudo as backend.)

No need to run the whole gui as root, because of security reasons.

equo i gksu -a
etc. In KDE, kdesu is installed by default.
