Is there no way of making equo recognize that a package is there as a dependency but leaving it alone completely? Perhaps I'm not a typical user, but it happened a few times in the last year that some USE flags I needed were not activated in the equo package. What other choice do I have than installing it via portage? Apart from compiling it myself and putting it into /usr/local in parallel to the regular system installation. If this happens to other people too, perhaps the tools for mixing entropy and portage should be improved.
