error "i8xx_tco.co"

during startup i get always that error msg. "i8xx_tco.co" and something about watchdog, simple plain install but it also apears when i start from the DVD

it still boots up doesn't it?

I see that too, but it continues right on thru. Same for the nvidia.ko error, it's all good

That refers to the i810 watchdog function that has been enabled in the kernel, it's used mainly for diskless workstations. It's just an annoying message otherwise lol. You could try recompiling your kernel and uncheck that watchdog functions, it's all about choice man. :D

thank you all for the reply, so i recognized that sometimes it will not shutdown my computer it could be possible that this is the cause? and the same problem stands for restart
