Wine and v4l

Postby ailike » Mon Feb 13, 2012 17:35

I have installed wine (1.3.37 (11:12:17 AM 01/22/2012)) and would like to use my webcam in an application running on wine.
However when I use amcap to test my setup it will tell me:
Code: Select all
err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {51b4abf3-748f-4e3b-a276-c828330e926a} not registered
err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {51b4abf3-748f-4e3b-a276-c828330e926a} not registered
err:ole:CoGetClassObject no class object {51b4abf3-748f-4e3b-a276-c828330e926a} could be created for context 0x3
The v4l headers were not available at compile time,
so video capture support is not available.

However, when I check the USE flags it tells me that it was compiled with the v4l flag on.
Of course I have tested the camera using Kopete where it works without a problem.

I would be interested to know if this is a general problem with this package version, and any suggestions would be most helpful.
