Problem with Sulfur [Solved]

Postby B1-66ERDK » Wed Dec 28, 2011 17:44

Hello

I am all of the sudden having a problem with starting Sulfur, I have tried to start it from a terminal as root and I get this:

# ./sulfur_client.py
No protocol specified
/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/gtk-2.0/gtk/__init__.py:57: GtkWarning: could not open display
warnings.warn(str(e), _gtk.Warning)
./sulfur/core.py:110: GtkWarning: IA__gdk_cursor_new_for_display: assertion `GDK_IS_DISPLAY (display)' failed
def busy_cursor(mainwin, insensitive=False, cur = gtk.gdk.Cursor(gtk.gdk.WATCH)):

def busy_cursor(mainwin, insensitive=False, cur = gtk.gdk.Cursor(gtk.gdk.WATCH)):
RuntimeError: could not create GdkCursor object

But I don't know how to fix it from this output, so I hope that one of you had an idea to how I can fix the problem??

Solved

Looks like I have fixed it.. the prblem was that I had installed blender 2.60 and that installed python 3.. so I uninstalled blender and python 3, restarted and then it worked again.

So it was a user error ;-)
