SL x86 7 K fully updated.
Today's update of KDE and associated packages (about 450) has caused Firefox, Thunderbird and Chromium to fail. These are the error messages:
[email protected] ~ $ thunderbird
/usr/lib/thunderbird/thunderbird-bin:
/usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.5.3/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.15'
not found (required by /usr/lib/thunderbird/libxul.so)
[email protected] ~ $ firefox
Couldn't load XPCOM.
[email protected] ~ $ chromium
chromium-browser: /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.5.3/libstdc++.so.6: version
`GLIBCXX_3.4.15' not found (required by chromium-browser)
There was also this message during the update of perl but I don't know if it's significant:
Warning: something's wrong at /usr/bin/enc2xs line 1017.
/usr/lib/perl5/5.12.4/Encode
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.12.3/i686-linux-thread-multi/Encode
Any ideas?
