I'll try the tutorial from that Gentoo site link, thnks.
I'll let you know as soon as possible.
Anyway, i've already had a similar problem in the past and I had no such big problems to deal with it (doing something similar to what is suggested in that post in the forum), but this time it seems different....we'll see...
Thanks anyway :)

BTW, have you installed the Pulseaudio control panel "pavucontrol", so that you can check the separate settings? I ask, cause this is not installed per default...

Yes pavucontrol is istalled and working.
Anyway, now is working but i really don't know why! :O
I think i noticed the problem: in Phonon settings menu (in kde->multimedia settings), in the second tab "hardware configuration" i cannot choose anything from any options, they're just blank...as there was no sound card installed....(and actually "alsaconfig" returned no audio devices when launched from the terminal...any connection?).
Basically I opened this tab trying to select something (but there was nothing selectable actually) and...out of the thin air...my music player (which was playing music in the background just to test audio) started to talk 8)

Any suggestion on what could have happened?
Thanks a lot

Ahahaha...thank you man! :D

What didnt' I get of the problem? if i see no sound card listed (and neither detected by alsaconf) i just think that there must be some problems with the sound card...right?
was that my fault?

bye
