wireless compaq f500 problem

OKay i can see the different wireless routers but whenever i try to connect to them all i get is unable to obtian ip address.
I cant give you reports off the laptop because i cant connect it to the internet.
Its a mcp51and its working off of eth1

Open a Konsole/Terminal window, log in as root user and enter the following commands:

echo "lspci" > output.txt
lspci >> output.txt
echo "lsusb" >> output.txt
lsusb >> output.txt
echo "lsmod" >> output.txt
lsmod >> output.txt
echo "dmesg" >> output.txt
dmesg >> output.txt
echo "ifconfig" >> output.txt
ifconfig >> output.txt
(Notice the first command has ">" and the rest have ">>".)

Copy output.txt to a pen drive, insert the pen drive in a computer that does have Internet access, paste the contents of output.txt in the SL pastebin (http://pastebin.sabayon.org/) and post in this thread the link to your pasted text.
