Funny that caught my eye on digg too.

It can't be all about the eye candy or Apple would have a lot higher share of market.

I enjoy the eye candy of KDE as much as I enjoy the speed and simplicity of Fluxbox.

Well I posted this comment because I couldn’t believe a distribution was not going to focus on a 3-D desktop development in their roadmap. DeadPunguin and wolfden are right. It is not all about the eye candy and I was using gentoo long before compiz and beryl. When I pop in a DVD and boot up sabayon and all of the eyecandy is working and I explain to someone this can be their webserver, e-mail, firewall, they can run virtual machines and all the other cool things Linux in general can do, they are hooked. I can see that lxnay, civll64, wolfden, and the rest of the sabayon team have put together a stellar distro and I will support it any way I can.
