Hi,
did you verify the checksum of your live disk?
Those issues arise very often from corrupted ISO files or bad DVD burns, check this wiki article on how to verify your MD5 checksum:

Would be nice to see the real error, when it goes to grub rescue, is it looking for the root dev?
If you enter /dev/sdx x being the the partition your sabayon is on. and it boots, I have seen this.
An easy cure is to boot the live sabayon disk, click on the installer go through the steps to install.
At some point you will be given the option to re-install the sabayon system, or just grub bootloader.
choose grub and reboot.
Am only guessing at your issue with the info provided, easy enough to try.

Okay, Only error I see on the Monitor is :
File Not Found
grub rescue

thanks though for the other Input, I will try that, yes never thought about trying to re install, then maybe just having
a option to re install grub.

But odd thing is, this is not the first time on this Dell Desktop that I have
gotten this error.
