Two problems

Postby pavav » Sun May 16, 2010 1:19

Hi,
I update my installation of sabayon 5 at least once a week. Two or maybe three weeks appeared the following two problems:
First, I can not logout from LXDE session, in fact I can not restart X server, because the computer freezes with the CPU busy.
Second, I can not turn off the computer properly with the command "init 0" or "shutdown", the computer freezes with CPU busy when the message "Remounting filesystems as read-only .." appears. Otherwise everything is normal when I restart with the command "init 6" or "reboot".

Encountered a similar problem but with Gnome. An upgrade of the kernel to a more recent version helped. Now running 2.6.33 and everything seems to work well.
