Sorry for posting on a matter that must seem pretty elementary to most. I've searched the wiki, used google, and searched this forum. I can't figure out what is wrong with my search strategies unless it is that the answer is so obvious to most nobody has posted on it.
I've created a launcher that works fine. Now I want to change the icon to something appropriate. The properties dialogue only lets me add decorations to the default icon. What am I missing?

Thanks, Donny. I should have said I'm using Gnome 2.28.2. Right clicking on the launcher doesn't give me anything that looks to the purpose.
So: Gnome. Launcher is on the desktop. Points to a script in a folder on the desktop and works fine. Kernel 2.6.33-Sabayon. Gnome 2.28.2. 2 GiB or RAM. Processor 0: Intel Pentium D CPU 3.4 GHz Processor 1: Intel Pentium D CPU 3.4 GHz
