Sabayon on a Mac Mini

Post by sabian » Wed Feb 24, 2010 16:48

Finally got the business use case to install Sabayon for real (outside of a VM) on my 3 year old Mac Mini. After an OS X corruption, Leopard was my only other choice. Needless to say, I didn't have the horsepower on the Mini to drive it. We'll see how Sabayon does. I'm a long time linux user and I've been watching it (Sabayon) for a while (Since 4.0) so it's time to put it to use. Thanks guys.

OK...
So did I miss something? I have rEFit http://refit.sourceforge.net/ as the boot manager for the mini and installed Sabayon 5.1 (32 bit).
After the installation, and installing grub on the mbr, the mini won't boot off the hd to Sabayon. (It's a dual boot Leopard/Sabayon). I've tried installing grub to mbr as well as the first sector on sda4 (where Sabayon / is).
Thanks for any help.
