I have kind of been a Linux distro refugee for a while now, I used to be a Suse Linux guy until they were bought by Novel. I did not like it much when they got into bed with Microsuck, no longer trust them so I have been trying to find a new permanent Linux home. Due to this I have been trying several different distros to see if I like one better than the others, I had used Sabayon for a time a year or so ago and decided to give it another look. I did run into a difficulty in that I have forgotten my original user name so I decided to just create a new profile so I can use the forums here. When I did so I got an error message saying that the email address I had put down was already in use by another user. Well that is me but I cannot remember who I was then (user name). I looked for an option to maybe have my original log on info sent to the email address on file but could not find this option, only ones I could find required you to know what your user name was. I wish that you had the option to have your user name sent to the email address that was used to create the account. I had to use a different email address to create the new account but this is awkward for me as the other email address that I could not use is the one that I use all the time and check daily.
