mp3 player

Where do I go to find my mp3 player in Sabayon, or what program do I need to dl for Sabayon to locate my mp3 player. It is a Iriver Lplayer 8g. I am a newbie to linux so the simpleist dumbed down version would be best

You will most likely get far more responses if you were a little less vague.
Provide more info such as sabayon version you are using , is it fully updated, what desk enviroment, your system hardware & are you talking about an external mp3 player ?, if so how does it connect to pc ?, ie: usb, parport etc.

Sorry about that. I am using Sabayon 5.1r the newest kde release, and I dl all the updates. The mp3 is connecting throught usb port. The mp3 is an external one like an Ipod, but a cheeper version. I guess is the right thing to day. Should I try it in the gnome desktop?
