Virtualisation on Sabayon Linux 5.0

Post by akshay.sulakhe » Wed Oct 07, 2009 19:19

Hello friends, I have installed Sabayon Linux 5.0 on my AMD Quad core 9950(BE),with 4 gigs of ram,160 gb and 1.5tb of HD. was looking for a virtualisation software,so that i can run two os's at a time and get some of my work done. My host OS would always be Sabayon Linux and guest os can be either linux or windows or even mac. Also i need total virtualisation. Please help me as i dont know much abt virtualisation and not much of Sabayon also. But i like it. Any guide wud be an absolute delight. DO reply. Thanks. :D

Sun VirtualBox works well on my machines and is available in entropy. As root run

Code: Select all

equo install virtualbox-bin --ask
But, before you do I recommend you look at the wiki on virtual machines:
