equo fails to run every time with an error msg

So every time I try to install anything with equo I get the following error messge in console:
Code: Select all

I did submit the error message but I was wondering if this is a known issue with a work around? I thought maybe I had a corrupted install so I just did a fresh format of Sabayon... Same result.

Ideas?

did you do a "equo update" before this?

xD Less posts would be better, it would mean everything was just working for me.

Anywho - ran "equo update" as you suggested - when I ran it it told me there was an equo/entropy update available and to run that first. So I ran "equo install equo" and then afterwards I went to run "equo update" again and now it fails with the following giant debug output:
Code: Select all
sager-lintop busybox # equo update

As for my excessive number of posts - really just want to get everything working - Sabayon looks like a good distro and I'd like to get it all set up properly and maybe use it as my main one instead of Ubuntu :)

i can confirm also to my system this curious warning:

but for me is only a curiosity ... my system is just fine, no real problems, so after entropy update and the usual
Code: Select all
sudo equo conf update
i got:

Code: Select all
equo install --pretend --verbose sys-apps/entropy

this means that
Code: Select all
>>  !!! Please update the following critical packages:

is really entropy style to warn you about a newer equo versions available ... still don't get why # >=sys-apps/entropy-0.98.0.2 which is misleading, already have a newer version: 0.98.4.2 ... that is the confusing part ...
