New Installation not booting after unfinished update

Hello,
I'm new to sabayon and gentoo, but I'm using linux as main system the last 5 years. I downloaded before ~1 month the Sabayon_Linux_19.03_amd64_Minimal.iso and I installed today. The installation completed without problems and I bootted to the new system. Because of minimal install I didn't have access to installed applications from icewm menu except rxtv terminal, so I wanted to install a browser(I found that midori was isntalled afterwards, but wasn't in menu) to find how to configure and use the system.
So, I first run the command:

Code: Select all

sudo equo update
and then:

Code: Select all

sudo equo install firefox
And the problems started from there. The above command somehow(I don't know exactly because rxvt had to small fonts and I barely could read them) started to update the system instead of just install firefox. And after about an hour of download and isntalled packages the screen became black(probably a driver/resolution problem) and I couldn't do anything(not even switch to another tty). After some time, I rebooted the pc from power button.
Now I cannot boot because of a kernel panic error. I suppose because I forced to reboot and installation didn't finish the kernel is corrupted.
So, my question is, what can I do now to fix this? I have arch linux installed and I' m using it as my main OS. I tried to use arch-chroot to update/upgrade from there, but I get error in entropy:

Code: Select all

equo update

import _ssl # if we can't import it, let the error propagate
ImportError: libssl.so.1.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Is there anything I can do to repair the installation?

I would advice to install latest daily image.
ftp://ftp.nluug.nl/pub/os/Linux/distr/s ... iso/daily/

For the record, I had the same issue and solved it by uninstalling and reinstalling everything (ArchLinux itself included), it solved my problem, and it's something that even the total Linux newbie that I am could do! But that's something that can only be done if you are actually new and don't have a lot of things to reinstall afterwards.
