Weird problem with web browsers [Answered]

Hi. I normally use chromium, but lately it has been bombing out when I try to load certain web pages or view .webms. I get the "aw snap..." error page. So I started using firefox and it will not load *any* web page. It says I am attempting to make an insecure connection.

Any ideas as to what is going on? Seems like the problems started when I last updated.

Thanks in advance.

I use Firefox and it's started doing the same thing to me right after I ran updates this morning. I tried disabling the firewall but that didn't work.

Same problem here. Since last update, I can't load most of HTTPS web pages (even google.com) on firefox. In Chromium everything works ok.
Also, in the latest update I can see in logs that nss package was updated, which may be the culprit. https://packages.sabayon.org/quicksearch?q=nss&x=0&y=0
Any ideas how to fix it?

Now, you got to read this thread...
Then, I don't know.
I dislike this situation, and similar others.

Thankyou Panuzio!

I agree with what was said in the linked thread, though. This is a bypass, not a fix. Hopefully they'll get this repaired sooner than later.

The next version of Firefox (51) does not have this problem and it is already being tested.
