LVM installation

Post by donkeyotay » Tue Jun 24, 2014 8:41

Morning all,
New to Sabayon, trying to install the latest monthly XFCE over my old debian installation. I used LVM with two volumes
Both using XFS. I would like to keep the /home partition, but the installation goes from 0% to 100% instantly and then hangs needing a hard reboot. AFAIA I have set everything up in Anacondoa correctly.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?
Many thanks for your help.

Are you using the daily/monthly ISO image for the installation?

From personal experience and from the posts on Sabayon's Facebook page, the newest version of the Anaconda installer is causing serious issues during the installation process. Have you tried using the 'old' 14.01 ISO image and then upgrading to the latest package versions?
