Set system clock to UTC [Solved]

Post by johnnyhop » Fri Jun 06, 2014 2:54

During install I mistakingly unchecked system clock set to UTC. Local time US-EDT consequently has a four hour error. How do I fix this?

Actually, in its current form that SL Wiki article was written in the time (pardon the pun) when SL used OpenRC as its init system, rather than systemd. These days, see the systemd sections in the Gentoo Wiki article: System time.
