Boot Sabayon ISO via GRUB2 - no luck

Post by cgherman » Wed Apr 23, 2014 5:55

I have tried to boot Sabayon 14.05 via GRUB2 so following Gentoo wiki - http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/GRUB2#ISO_images - I added following entry in grub.cfg:

menuentry "Sabayon GNOME ISO" {
set cmdline="dokeymap looptype=squashfs loop=/livecd.squashfs cdroot"
set isofile="/mnt/iso/Sabayon_Linux_14.05_amd64_GNOME.iso"
loopback loop (hd0,gpt6)${isofile}
linux (loop)/boot/sabayon ${cmdline} root=/dev/ram0 isoloop=${isofile}
initrd (loop)/boot/sabayon.igz
}

But no luck, seems the boot process not find / and crash in kernel panic.

Can you indicate some advice for me where is the problem?
