VLC Audio Issue

Postby Sorceror » Sat Feb 01, 2014 12:15

I've been using Sabayon for about 3 months now without this issue but suddenly about a week or 2 ago I'm no longer hearing any audio through VLC whether it's video files or audio only files that I play.
The audio is fine on the same files through SMPlayer and also working on Clementine.
None of the settings in VLC have been changed. The downside to using SMPlayer is that it doesn't read compressed (.rar) video files so I really would like to get the VLC audio back online to save me the time of 'un-rar-ing' everything.
